Question: What baggage restrictions should I be aware of
when traveling to Africa?
Answer: You
have full baggage allowance permitted by your international airline.
When traveling on safari you will be limited to 22-26 lbs (10-12 Kg)
per person.
If you would like, we will be glad to arrange storage of your extra
baggage at a convenient and secure location while you are on
safari. Ask us for more details.
Question: Will English be spoken widely?
Answer: Yes.
Question: If
I run out of film for my camera, can I purchase this in Africa?
Answer: Pack
enough supplies for your camera before you leave your
homeland. You will be able to buy supplies for your camera in
the city but you will not be able to buy supplies for your camera while
on safari.
Question:
I’ve heard the term "Big Five", for Africa, what does this
term mean?
Answer: The
term "Big Five" refers to the five most-sought-after wild animals on
safari: elephant, lion, leopard, rhino and buffalo.
Question: I have a cellular phone, can I use it in Africa?
Answer:
Cellular telephone facilities are available in most major towns and
cities located in Africa. You should call your service provider and
pre-arrange service before you leave for Africa. Keep in mind
that you should never take or use your cellular phone when on safari.
